Janice likes to keep an open mind while teaching, and believes that by letting her students experiment with different music genres and musical styles, that they will be able to develop a stronger love and passion for music. Janice believes this is the best teaching method to help her students find the music style that suits them and their studies in the long term.

Janice started learning piano at the age of nine and has completed all ABRSM grade exams. She was a music student in Australian International School Hong Kong where she participated in several music events.

Besides piano performances for her music studies and public concerts, she had also done various vocal performances as a part of the Australian International School Hong Kong vocal ensemble. She is actively involved in the music production industry and has performed in musicals such as Peter and the Wolf, which was performed in both AISHK annual ball and the ANZ opening ceremony in Hong Kong.

Janice is a graduate of Macquarie University of Bachelor of Arts (major in Music). While completing her degree, Janice took multiple music production classes, which sparked her interest for music composing and producing.

Janice is passionate about music production, and is capable of using professional software such as Sibelius, which most students use for their High School Certificate Music course. She composed and wrote arrangements for various songs.
