Julia’s teaching philosophy is encouraging all students to enjoy performing their music and to play a wide variety of musical styles in working towards developing a high musical potential. She believes in creating an environment where her students are able to unleash their musical talent and creativity in all aspects of their musical journey. Thinking of it as a road, Julia sees herself as the engineer who helps the students to build the road as smooth as possible – with as less detours as she can – to help direct the student onto individualistic paths where an optimistic outlook is developed towards the appreciation of music.
Julia started learning piano at the young age of five. She has completed AMEB grades of up to CMusA (with distinction) and preparing for LMusA. Julia attended various eisteddfods in Sydney and achieved great results in them.
