Jacinta Chang is an encouraging and passionate piano tutor. She aims to nurture and pass on her love for music to students of all ages. Fostering a balance between strict practise and improvement whilst maintaining motivation and enthusiasm is extremely important to her.

Jacinta began playing the piano when she was eight years old and able to play other instruments including the violin and viola. She has achieved a rank of first in the grade in the high school. Jacinta is experienced in performing as a piano accompanist including playing in band and at assemblies. In 2018, Jacinta completed all her AMEB grade exams which she obtained a distinction. She has a high level of knowledge of piano performance and musical theory, whilst also creating an encouraging and fun environment during lessons.

Jacinta has had a range of experiences in teaching and coaching. She was the lead viola player in strings ensemble and coached junior netball throughout high school. Resultantly, this has given Jacinta the ability to create a unique learning experience for each student, enriching their strengths and musical studies.

Currently, she is studying engineering full-time at the University of New South Wales and frequently enjoys pursuing her musical studies during free time.
